Designing turnkey solutions

Modernizing Manufacturer's Office to Attract the Next Generation of Employees

This product manufacturing company in Brampton is a true success; in business for over 20 years and shipping its products worldwide. While creating that success, naturally, the focus was more on doing the work than on the building where the work was being done. Ultimately, the design became tired, and the space was not being used as effectively or efficiently as it could be. Like many businesses these days, the company has experienced hiring challenges. This makes it quite important that the work environment has a positive effect on attracting and retaining the next generation of employees.

This renovation project addressed 5,000 square feet of executive/administrative office space in the 50,000 square-foot facility.

To develop exterior and interior designs that reflect the company’s values and culture.

To transform a plain, dated office space into an environment that is attractive to the next generation of employees.

To better utilize the available space with a layout that serves the functional needs of the departments and employees.

To provide surroundings that support productivity, teamwork, and innovation and be a place where employees can be proud to work.

Our interior design team created 3D renders to easily demonstrate the ways in which the available space could be used more effectively.

Through a collaborative and iterative process, an optimal solution was developed, one in which the layout and finishes met all client requirements.

We delivered a turn-key solution, including signage, furniture selection, landscaping, mechanical, electrical, architectural and structural design and implementation.

The Glendale Group was able to successfully modernize the industrial manufacturer’s office space, providing them with a design that showcased their values and culture, while also providing a functional layout that met the needs of their employees. The new design attracted the next generation of employees and improved their overall experience in the office space. The design increased the personnel capacity within the space beyond that required for current hiring needs. Renovations to the façade, and interior, greatly improved the overall value of the property beyond the invested capital cost.
